I posted a couple of photos I took while trying out the new camera. Since I spent so much time customizing the gallery for my last camera, some of the EXIF values aren’t displaying properly underneath the photos so I will have to look at the code more when I get a chance. Ok, as it turns out, it was actually Adobe PhotoShop Elements 5 that was stripping most of the EXIF data and overwritting it with its own info. I was just glad it wasn’t the changes I had made to EXIF parser for the new camera as all of the ISO information is given new values for this series of camera in the MakerNotes field of the EXIF that Canon so likes to use. After testing different tools late last night, I have decided to do my cropping and any changes required with the very nice (and free) Picasa from Google and I am still using XNView for my resizing/watermarking as it retains the EXIF info and is capable of batch processing.

Enjoy!
