I just had an awesome photo session here tonight. I have made a couple of different flash diffusers and am very pleased with the results.
First, I tried the CCRRFDv2 and really like the results for portraits, it totally removed any shadows and left a nice warm uniform glow instead of the harsh flash with lots of shadows behind the people in the photo.
Then I found this extender and tried it out. Here are some of his amazing photos using it and at the bottom of the page is more pictures of the extender.
So I went ahead and made my own diffuser from a toothpaste box and lined it with aluminum foil (its looks won’t win me any awards) but I think the photos speak for themselves.
Click on the link to see the results. All of the photos are all the originals composition, (the only Post Processing performed was a resize to 640×480 and adding my watermark.)
Edit: 28 Jul 07, I took some more images tonight and added 4 more to the gallery.
