I took a few photos of the flowers that I bought for Jo for her birthday (ok, I actually shot alot of photos but I am only posting a few). I used the homemade “toothpaste carton flash extender” I had made earlier as I really like some of the results I am getting. These ones I am posting tonight didn’t come out too bad but I am having some problems with focusing (manual or auto) in these very low light conditions (hence me only posting 3 photos). More practise required I guess…

Wow, this is my third post tonight, I think that is a record!
I have been playing around a little bit in Adobe PhotoShop Elements and have converted a couple of images I really liked into “paintings”.
I plan on having the original photo I shot and the “painting” framed together somehow, I think it might look nice, what do you think?
Check out some of the examples by clicking here.
After a nice little walk around our neighbourhood tonight, I have added a couple of new pictures in the HDR section.

I have decided to create a group on FaceBook dedicated to the memory of my brother, it is called “Remembering: Corporal Randy Payne” if you are on FaceBook check it out.
If you were a friend of Randy’s please pass on the group info to other people that might not be aware of it yet.
Let’s make it a place to share memories or photos or stories and things of a great man that was taken from us way to early.
I am in the process of making a slideshow or two but it won’t be ready for a little bit yet.
